There are two main types of subscription on your account that will renew usually every year.
Hosting Subscription
Your hosting subscription is the main service you have – this enables you to host websites for your domain names, design your website(s) using the free site-builder tools, set up email accounts and check your email from Webmail, your PC or a mobile device.
Our system will generate an automatic renewal order for your hosting subscription at least two weeks before it is due for renewal. You can complete this order via your control panel by providing credit card details.

When your hosting renewal has been processed, we will send you a code that allows you to register, renew or transfer a free domain (all hosting subscriptions include at least one free domain name).
Domain Names
Your domain name is what names your website on the internet, forms the basis for your email address and generally is the fundamental item that defines your web presence. To have a website, you will always need at least one domain name. Our system will notify you via email as your domain name nears its expiry date. Domain names do not renew automatically (unless you have set them to do so) as you may wish to use your free domain code to renew your domain.

If your domain is registered elsewhere, you may instead use your free domain code to transfer this domain into your webhosting.ie account. The transfer will usually add one additional year to the domain name.
Renewal Pricing
The Renewal Cost is for WebHosting.ie Lite / GIBO Hosting is €59.95 per year + VAT.
This includes:
- Linux Shared Web Hosting for 1 Year
- Free .ie, .com, .net. org, .eu or .co.uk domain name for 1 Year
- Free Parallels Web Presence Builder 10.3 (or SiteBuilder 4.5)
- Free easy WordPress installation (and other Apps)
- Five 1GB mailboxes (via Webmail, Outlook, Mobile etc)
The free domain name can be one of .ie, .com, .net, .org, .co.uk or .eu This is provided via a coupon code that can be used to renew, register or transfer any domain for 1 year once you have renewed your web hosting account. You may apply the coupon to longer registration or renewal periods if you wish, in which case you will simply be charged for one less year.
The renewal cost for domain names in addition to your free one (or for longer than one year) is:
€24.95 +VAT per year for a .ie domain
€12.95 + VAT per year for .com, .net, .org, .co.uk or .eu domain name
Please ensure that you renew your web hosting account before renewing your domain name in order to receive the free domain code. Renewal orders placed without using the provided code will be charged at the standard prices above.
